About the Role
We are looking for a talented Market Research Manager - Asia to join our Taiwan Team and deliver a coherent research plan to facilitate decision making and strategic planning in Asia and product sector(s) that is aligned to global strategy and plan.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Championing the customer and market voice, ensuring this is at the heart of and integrated into the relevant strategies and decisions to drive customer satisfaction, ELT competitiveness and enable commercial success of the product portfolio and customer offer.  
  • Building on a strong foundation the role will be key in identifying creative solutions to effectively reach our broad and evolving customer base across Asia to ensure they all have a voice in ELT's decision making.
  • Working closely with the Director – Global Research & Insight, management and delivery of the research pipeline will be key, together with effective dissemination of the insights, embedding the research team as a respective and authoritative resource that acts as a true partner to stakeholders.•    

 

About You 
Essential: 

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working in Market Research either for a market research agency or client-side as part of the organisation customer insight team.
  • Research experience within a B2B and/or B2C environment
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative, qualitative and analytical abilities
  • Ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously, including project management skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills for internal and external collaboration, both English and local language where relevant
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team on multiple projects
  • Ability to work on own initiative, assessing priories and workload appropriately
  • A strong can-do attitude and ability to think outside the box to solve problems
  • Hands on experience of market research methods both qualitative and quantitative
  • Experience in monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing rich insights from qualitative and quantitative market research data
  • High level of attention to detail and computer literacy
  • Understanding of regional educational systems
  • Commercially astute
  • Excellent communication skills in English and relevant local language.

 

Desirable:

  • Holder of Market Research qualification
  • Understanding of or interest in the ELT/educational market
