Head of Product

We are looking for an ELT Head of Product, to lead the product strategy for Spain, collaborating closely with our UK Product team and cross-functional teams to drive growth across all segments. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to shape the future of our portfolio in OUP’s most important ELT market.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, collaborate with international teams, and lead initiatives that define the future of ELT in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Define Spain’s ELT product plan in alignment with the UK Product team.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Product Management team.
• Drive market research and identify emerging trends.
• Build and execute product strategy together with Sales & Marketing.
• Manage full product lifecycles to maximize profitability.
• Deliver sales force training, generate product documentation and contribute to marketing collateral.
• Provide financial and market insights to support decision-making.
• Identify growth opportunities and strengthen OUP’s market position.

Requirements

• University degree plus teaching background.
• 5+ years of senior experience in educational publishing.
• Experience working in a matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of the Spanish ELT market.
• Solid financial and strategic planning skills.
• Spanish C1 and English C2/native level.

This is an office-based role in San Fernando de Henares (Madrid)
