Opportunity – 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a sales target of INR 10 Mn+, engaging with approximately 150 prospective schools across Chandigarh (Tri-city) and Himachal Pradesh.
  • Retain and grow OUP’s market share through aggressive promotion of educational print and blended (Print + LMS) resources.
  • Deliver exceptional after-sales support and workshops, driving usage of platforms like Oxford Educate.
  • Present and pitch OUP’s product offerings effectively to school stakeholders including teachers, coordinators, principals, and management.
  • Manage the distribution network, address queries, and ensure timely collections.
  • Promote OUP’s library and reading resources to school libraries.
  • Drive growth in the blended and digital product space through demos and customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate sales and competition data in Salesforce (iTrack).
  • Plan and execute customer acquisition events and training sessions.
  • Contribute to strengthening OUP’s brand image through innovative, ground-level strategies.

 

About You

 

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • In-depth knowledge of the assigned territory’s market.
  • Solution-oriented sales skills with exposure to digital tools.

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Understanding of the school education business is a plus.
  • Candidates from other industries may also apply if they demonstrate relevant skills and adaptability.
