Opportunity –
In this role, you will:
- Lead a sales target of INR 10 Mn+, engaging with approximately 150 prospective schools across Chandigarh (Tri-city) and Himachal Pradesh.
- Retain and grow OUP’s market share through aggressive promotion of educational print and blended (Print + LMS) resources.
- Deliver exceptional after-sales support and workshops, driving usage of platforms like Oxford Educate.
- Present and pitch OUP’s product offerings effectively to school stakeholders including teachers, coordinators, principals, and management.
- Manage the distribution network, address queries, and ensure timely collections.
- Promote OUP’s library and reading resources to school libraries.
- Drive growth in the blended and digital product space through demos and customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate sales and competition data in Salesforce (iTrack).
- Plan and execute customer acquisition events and training sessions.
- Contribute to strengthening OUP’s brand image through innovative, ground-level strategies.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- In-depth knowledge of the assigned territory’s market.
- Solution-oriented sales skills with exposure to digital tools.
Desirable Criteria
- Understanding of the school education business is a plus.
