By joining the Product, Higher Education team, you will help build and maintain the OUPI Higher Education list. This role offers exposure to diverse projects and collaboration with team members internally and authors and stakeholders externally. Opportunity – 

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Analyse market trends and plan the publishing list for relevant, impactful products
• Commission and develop book as per gap analysis and market intelligence
• Coach authors and content creators to deliver pedagogically sound and audience appropriate material
• Edit content for Higher Education – both for print and digital
• Content management, author management
• Maintain high editorial standards and adhere to the project schedules
• Uphold the impeccable reputation of the Press and deal with authors and external stakeholders in a professional and responsible manner

About You

Essential Criteria

•  Master's degree in any domain
• Strong understanding of editorial practices
• To be able to manage multiple projects for print and digital titles ensuring timely
  publishing
• Support Writers, Sales colleagues and End users (faculty) through training sessions
  focused on product familiarity
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong ability to foster
  collaboration across departments
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high editorial standards.
