About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Division as a Senior Demand Planner, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping demand and supply planning for the South Region and supporting national-level forecasting for the School Education division. Opportunity – 

• Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain demand forecasts for the South region and oversee national-level forecasts.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and develop statistical forecast models.
  • Conduct regional S&OP meetings, collaborate with Sales, Production, and Customer teams for accurate planning.
  • Provide input to supply planning for inventory norms and stock availability.
  • Analyze data for forecast accuracy, back-orders, and business requirements.

• Impact on Team and Organization:

  • Ensure accurate forecasting to optimize inventory levels and reduce back-orders.
  • Act as the information hub for senior management, enabling strategic decisions.
  • Drive collaboration across Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to improve service levels.

About You

Essential Criteria:

• 10–15 years of experience in demand/supply planning roles.
• Exposure to multi-region or Pan-India planning.
• Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and business acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP environments.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP.

Desirable:

• Experience in project-based inventory initiatives.
• Familiarity with consensus forecasting and S&OP processes.
