Opportunity – the ‘what’
In this role, you will:
- Develop and edit content for the OUPblog, including approving pitches, copyediting, and managing tasks in ClickUp.
- Manage day-to-day operations of OUPblog and social media accounts, including organic posts and advertising.
- Contribute to refining content and social strategies, ensuring wide dissemination and engagement.
- Collaborate with tower marketers to deliver standard and rapid-response social content and monitor social channels for customer service or reputational issues.
- Work with the Paid Social Manager on advertising campaigns, focusing on promoted posts.
- Support reporting and analysis of marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Your work will directly impact OUP’s ability to engage audiences effectively, strengthen brand presence, and optimize marketing processes across academic markets.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders.
- Editorial experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable Criteria
- Familiarity with AI tools for content workflows (can be trained on the job).
- Knowledge of social media management platforms like Sprinklr.
