Opportunity –
As the Head of Academic Excellence, you will:
- Lead a team of regional academic excellence managers to drive retention target achievement and tap on cross sell/ up-sell opportunities.
- Oversee the academic journey of schools, ensuring high-quality training and implementation.
- Monitor and enhance the usage of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Completion of ISV and training as per the SLA.
- Increase productivity by sharing insights during the weekly regional team calls.
- Continuous school connect sessions to measure the impact and collect feedback on training and implementation.
- Monitor travel planning of the team members to ensure optimal utilization of time within budgets maintaining high standards of safety and security.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, digital) and external stakeholders (schools, government bodies).
- Support product development and marketing initiatives, including government collaborations with CBSE, NCERT, SCERTs, and others.
- Drive school engagement activities and contribute to go-to-market strategies and launches, NSMs, RSMs and product trainings (school/ region wise).
- Work closely with the digital/ product team to support them through product development and enhancement.
- Understand business requirements for products/ solutions based on product and market analysis.
- Review product– have regular interactions with tech and product team, sharing feedback from market and internal stakeholders.
- Drive School Engagement Activities to increase value proposition.
Your leadership will directly influence revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and the overall success of OUP’s educational initiatives.
About You
Essential Criteria
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree (preferably in Business Management).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including team leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of the K–12 education market.
- Strong understanding of content development (print and digital).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
- High integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented mindset.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working with both private and public educational institutions.
- Familiarity with government education initiatives and policy frameworks.
