About the Role

This role is responsible for generating Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through the efficient and effective execution of digital direct marketing campaigns, primarily via email. It involves leveraging EMS/CRM expertise and collaborating with campaign owners across the Global Marketing team. The role also includes providing reporting support, updating product data for the web, and creating sales enablement tools for the Higher Ed Sales teams.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Execute marketing campaigns through digital channels (primarily email) to meet campaign goals.

    • Success Measure: Campaigns achieve target goals and objectives; effective communication with campaign owners.
  2. Build and deploy email campaigns based on content and plans developed by campaign owners.

    • Activities include proofreading, quality assurance, scheduling, and deployment.
    • Success Measure: Timely and accurate campaign execution; adherence to best practices and guidelines.
  3. Generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and opportunities through campaign efforts.

    • Success Measure: Delivery of target MQLs.
  4. Support CRM and Sales reporting, update product data, and create sales enablement tools.

    • Success Measure: Accurate and timely delivery of product and customer information.
  5. Manage subscriber data in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to ensure compliance with opt-out and duplication protocols.

    • Success Measure: Meeting subscriber targets across the SFMC platform.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Essential:

  • Experience building email campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, or other ESPs and CRMs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, etc.).

Desirable:

  • Fundamental knowledge of publishing and/or online marketing.
  • Proficiency in HTML.
  • Experience with Photoshop.

Education or Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
