OUP, the leading global ELT publisher, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager – Key Accounts to support our regional strategy across Peru, Chile and Colombia, based in Lima.

 

About the Role
This is an exciting regional opportunity to drive strategic growth across priority markets. The purpose of this role is to define and implement a Key Accounts strategy, build strong partnerships with leading educational institutions and corporate groups, and deliver sustainable growth for OUP’s ELT portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-value institutional relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and positioning OUP as a trusted provider of integrated educational solutions.

This is a full-time role with regional scope and frequent interaction with cross-country stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities
• Define and execute the regional Key Account commercial strategy aligned with global priorities
• Build and strengthen senior-level relationships with key institutions and partners across Chile, Peru, and Colombia
• Identify growth opportunities and design compelling, tailored value propositions
• Drive institutional agreements and support multi-year renewals
• Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage pipelines using CRM tools (Salesforce)
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and digital teams to ensure strong execution and customer experience
• Support onboarding of new accounts and ensure high-quality service delivery
• Provide market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to support strategic decisions
• Identify training opportunities and support capability development for stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and OUP’s Code of Conduct

Qualifications

Required Skills
• University degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or key account management
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven collaborative mindset and ability to influence stakeholders
• Fluent English
• Proficiency with CRM and digital tools
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of the ELT sector
• Experience working with educational institutions or edtech environments
