About the Role
We seek a detail-oriented and analytically driven Marketing Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting data-driven decision-making by designing and implementing market research programs, using large datasets to build forecasting models, and identifying patterns in data. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive trends, particularly within the publishing sector. The ideal candidate has strong, broad technical and analytical skills that can translate into business deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze consumer data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
2. Lead the execution of market research initiatives, including qualitative and quantitative research.
3. Develop and maintain market sizing models and forecasting tools.
4. Extract and analyze data from internal systems to support reporting and insights.
5. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
About You
The ideal candidate should have the following:
1. Strong academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Statistics from a recognized university.
2. At least 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence and market research with proven success in data analysis.
3. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and/or at least one statistical software package such as R, Python, or Stata.
5. Hands-on experience in using data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
