Marketing Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a talented Marketing Executive to join our Corporate Marketing Team who will be responsible for delivering marketing strategy and solutions to promote OUP products and services for parent market and meet the business objectives and KPIs in Hong Kong, Macau and beyond.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to gather valuable customer insights and business intelligence in the parent market in a structured manner. Segment customers based on their needs and identify new business opportunities or initiatives.

Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to improve planning and respond swiftly in order to maintain and increase our market share.

Develop and implement marketing plans utilizing an appropriate marketing mix to effectively promote OUP products and services within budget and target customer segments.

Develop and execute communication and content marketing plans to effectively convey the customer value proposition and enhance audience experience with our brand, products, and services throughout the marketing funnel.

Take ownership of end-to-end event management, including collaborating with event organizers, agencies, and vendors. This entails overseeing promotions, managing manpower, and organizing events such as the Hong Kong Bookfairs, baby and kids exhibitions, and partner events, which may be conducted in physical or online formats.

Identify and establish partnerships with new business partners to expand our marketing reach in the targeted market.
- Provide support in logistical procedures, including setting up vendor accounts, creating purchase orders, and managing vendor payments., etc.
About You
Essential:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and communications.

University degree in Marketing, English or Chinese languages, corporate communications, journalism, or translation.

Excellent command of both Chinese and English
Desirable:

Assist in managing trade and digital marketing channels, including websites and social media platforms. Familiarity with live streaming (e.g. webinars) and knowledge of video shooting/editing skills would be advantageous

Knowledge of SEO and SEM marketing and analytical tools such as Google Analytics & Google Ads.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Interest in children's publication products. Familiarity with the local parent market and/or educational publishing industry is preferred.
