About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Learning Designer to join our Product Team and lead the development of a range of innovative, market-leading products and services for use in Secondary schools around Australia that align with business strategy and support sales and growth targets.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Commission and develop a range of educational products and services (both print and digital) for the Secondary Education publishing portfolios across Years 7–12.

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Secondary Education Product team and leverages AI to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

  • Is connected to the education market, including in-school classroom observations, prototype trialling, conference and webinar attendance.

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that support the creation and promotion of key products and services.

  • Work cooperatively with Product and Data coordinators to ensure publishing administration is efficiently managed.

 

About You 

Essential: 

  • Degree/postgraduate qualification in Secondary Education or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in learning design with emphasis on digital learning solutions that address customer needs improve teaching and learning outcomes
  • Experience in educational publishing or related field, including digital-first ways of working, including integration of AI
  • Knowledge of the Australian education market, including understanding of the use/application of digital technologies to enhance product design and improve learning experiences and outcomes
  • High proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Desirable: 

  • Qualification in Publishing and Editing and/or Learning Design
