Oxford University Press Australia & New Zealand is welcoming applicaitons for the role of Senior Learning Designer: Mathematics to join our Product team. Thsi full-time, ongoing position offers a unique opportunity for a capable and highly motivated individual to join our award-winning team and work for one of the world's largest and most respected educational brands.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing a range of exciting new print and digital resources for students and teachers of Mathematics (Years 7-12) in secondary schools across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:

Commission and develop a range of print and digital resources for the Australian secondary school Mathematics market (with guidance from the Portfolio Manager and Product Manager)

Work closely with authors and members of the product, editorial, design, digital, marketing, and operations teams to develop high-quality resources in line with market needs and curriculum requirements, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget

Conduct market research to inform new concepts and proposals

Contribute to the strategic direction of the Secondary Product team by attending strategy meetings and workshops and supporting the implementation of the publishing strategy and plan

Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal staff and external supppliers to help ensure the devleopment and delivery of market-leading resources
Key attributes:

Degree/postgraduate qualification in Mathematics or related field (essential)

Experience in educational publishing and/or experience teaching or tutoring Mathematics in a Secondary school context (desirable)

Degree/postgraduate qualifiication in publishing and/or direct experience in Learning Design (desirable)

Strong project management skills and ability to creae and maintain schedules and budgets (essential)

Detailed undderstanding of the Australian education market (essential)

High proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (essential)

Excellent interpersonal skills (essential)

Excellent written and oral communication skills (essential)

Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines (essential)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team (essential)
