Marketing and Events Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Marketing and Events Coordinator to support our highly collaborative and progressive Marketing team to coordinate and implement primary, secondary, higher education and English Language Teaching (ELT)  events, social media and various digital and traditional marketing activities by collaborating with marketing portfolio leads and sales to coordinate event bookings, conference displays, product and marketing collateral, and social media campaigns to engage our education audiences and drive leads.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create and maintain the annual events schedule in conjunction with sales and marketing
  • Support and enhance marketing webinar process
  • Coordination communications and thought leadership campaigns
  • Support implementation of product marketing campaigns within the marketing plan and as required
  • Work proactively with the sales team to maximise adoptions and sell-through of resources

 

About You 

Essential: 

  • 1-2 years marketing and communication experience
  • At least 1 year in a marketing role with similar events focus
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Strong customer service ethic and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in eDM development, website maintenance and/or social media
  • Highly collaborative, with well-developed stakeholder management skills.
  • High level skills in Microsoft Office.

 

Desirable:

  • Familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Salesforce Sales cloud (CRM) and Marketing cloud (marketing automation) experience or a willingness to learn
  • Experience working in education or publishing environment
