Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop Marketing strategies, activity and campaign plans in conjunction with the Head of Marketing and other key stakeholders including Publishers, Regional Sales Managers and Marketing team members.
  • Maintain a schedule of marketing campaign activity.
  • Keep tracking and reporting spend against marketing campaign budgets for assigned portfolios. 
  • Build and execute Marketing plans effectively and successfully, addressing acquisition and retention objectives
  • Ensure the Marketing budget is managed to ensure cost effective programs and activities with the highest ROI to support the OUP marketing strategy
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews which evaluate marketing activities against key measures and provide optimisation recommendations
  • Develop Marketing campaigns which align with market and customer segmentation and product strategy, in consultation with business stakeholders
  • Drive customer engagement, lead generation, and support acquisition and retention objectives
  • Leverage the OUP brand and builds equity in priority areas by employing used and influencer voices, supported by strategic media and thought leadership campaigns
  • Work in conjunction with the Digital Campaign Specialist, ensuring automated lead nurturing solutions are developed to optimise engagement, acquisition and retention

 

Working closely with the team you will ensure:

  • Communications activities strengthen awareness and reputation of OUP ANZ in key markets, and support brand and marketing strategies
  • OUP ANZ effectively engages on the key issues for our audiences, via the communications channels appropriate to market segments 
  • Effective media and influencer relationships are developed, including with PR agency partners
  • Community size and engagement levels are increased across all social platforms.

 

You will also collaborate with the sales teams to ensure that marketing initiatives and processes support greater lead generation, improved lead quality and conversion, and enhanced data quality.

 

About You 

Essential: 

  • 3+ years B2B marketing experience including development of brand and thought leadership initiatives, demand and lead generation campaigns.
  • A proven track record in delivering desired results, including the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Highly collaborative, with well-developed stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in eDM development, website maintenance and/or social media.
