Learning Designer (Secondary)

About the Role
We are looking for a talented Learning Designer (Secondary) to join our team and be responsible for commissioning and developing a range of innovative, market-leading products and services for use in Secondary schools around Australia that align with business strategy and support sales and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and develop a range of educational products and services (print and digital) for the Secondary education publishing portfolios across Years 7–12 (with support from the Product Manager and Portfolio Managers as required).
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Secondary Education Product team, and leverages AI to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Is connected to the education market, including in-school classroom observations, prototype trialling, conference and webinar attendance.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that support the creation, promotion and delivery of key products and services.
- Work cooperatively with Product and Data coordinators to ensure publishing administration is efficiently managed.
About You
Essential:
- Experience in learning design with emphasis on digital learning solutions that address customer needs improve teaching and learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the Australian education market, including understanding of the use/application of digital technologies to enhance product design and improve learning experiences and outcomes
- High proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent project management skills, organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Degree/postgraduate qualification in Secondary Education or equivalent industry experience
- Qualification in Publishing and Editing and/or Learning Design
