Learning Designer, Primary Literacy (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role
We are looking for a talented Learning Designer to join our Product Team and be responsible for commissioning and developing a range of innovative, market-leading products and services for use in Primary schools around Australia that align with business strategy and support sales and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and develop a range of educational products and services (print and digital) for the Primary publishing portfolio across Years F–6 (with support from the Product Manager and Portfolio Managers as required).
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Primary Product team, and leverages AI to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Connect to the education market, including in-school classroom observations, prototype trialling, conference and webinar attendance.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that support the creation, promotion and delivery of key products and services.Work cooperatively with Product and Data coordinators to ensure publishing administration is efficiently managed.
About You
Essential:
- Experience in learning design with emphasis on digital learning solutions that address customer needs improve teaching and learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the Australian education market, including understanding of the use/application of digital technologies to enhance product design and improve learning experiences and outcomes
- High proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent project management skills, organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Degree/postgraduate qualification in Primary Education or equivalent industry experience
- Qualification in Publishing and Editing and/or Learning Design
