Executive Assistant

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide full support to the General Manager to ensure GM’s office runs smoothly including composing reports, business cases, strategic proposals and preparing PowerPoint presentations and performing research.
  • Participate in meetings as per the GM’s request. Follow up, track and manage progress of projects and tasks. Provide summaries and red flags to GM when necessary.
  • Collaborate on key business activities, planning and management of annual strategies, and delivering the strategic initiatives. 
  • Facilitate the communication between the GM and the Senior Management team and other key stakeholders. This includes but not limited to the relay of confidential information relating to business continuity and announcements.
  • Catalogue and manage updates and progress open initiatives and activities.
  • Champion a select number of strategic internal initiatives such as annual all staff training programme, market research or Customer Experience project.
  • Liaise with the regional or group office on their respective initiatives.
  • Handle communication and liaison work with industry associations and government agencies as requested.
  • Coordinate and manage activities for SMT monthly meetings, all-staff meetings, conferences and other forums and manage reporting as per the GM’s request.
  • Manage diary and travel arrangements. 
  • Support the SMT as and when possible.

 

Key attributes:

  • Relevant and solid experience including diary management, meeting organization and travel management in serving Senior Executives gained from previous work experiences.
  • Independently, self-driven and proactive with a problem-solving mind set.
  • Ability to coordinate with others to keep actions and projects on track.
  • Curious to learn and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Fluent in English with strong writing and listening skills.
  • Professional, pleasant and pro-active with strong ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Resilient, flexible and highly adaptable to learn and change.
  • Organised and able to work in confidence and handle confidential information.
