This is a great opportunity to join OUP’s Academic Marketing division in a hands‑on, detail‑driven digital operations role. As part of the Web Operations team, you will directly support the effectiveness, accuracy, and quality of OUP’s marketing websites—critical platforms that connect global academic audiences with world‑leading content.
You will work within a supportive team structure, collaborating with Marketing, Editorial, Journals, and other business stakeholders. As OUP continues to invest in digital excellence, your role contributes meaningfully to maintaining high‑quality web experiences and enabling efficient delivery of academic marketing activities.
This is an excellent role if you enjoy problem‑solving, digital tools, content management systems, and playing an important part in keeping essential web content accurate and engaging.
Opportunity – the ‘what’
In this role, you will:
• Build and edit marketing web pages using a Content Management System (CMS).
• Undertake regular housekeeping, reporting, and maintenance to ensure accurate and up‑to‑date web content.
• Provide first‑line support for issues or inaccuracies raised by business stakeholders, resolving directly through the CMS or escalating when needed.
• Manage changes on live pages using tools including WordPress and PubFactory.
• Independently schedule and deliver recurrent edits, ensuring accuracy and validity of all marketing web content.
• Support marketing projects where web activity is a key component.
• Maintain and update documentation describing web operations processes.
